My old 48 Chevy 4 door turned pick-up it was 5 or 6 inches I cant remember now lol.

 

Chopped my 4dr 30' 6 1/2 inches.

 

Heres my merc, Not done yet. I have some more recent pics but have not had time to upload them yet. 5" straight side post with long quarter windows.

 

Roof line looks perfect.Splitting the top is the trick to get the "bump"out. Look forward to seeing more pics. Nice job.

 

2 1/2" out of the windows, 1 1/2" de-crowning. Stock rear winder. Customers truck.

 

Close to a 53 Chevy, 53 Buick Super Riveria 2 & 1/2 chop, 55 Buick door tops and quarter panels open up side windows, so it does't look choped from the side. But looks choppede front and back. Also 50 Buick trunk lid adds to the flow of the car.

 

a 54 i chopped foe a customer the car is not done yet .its about 4 up front 4 1/2 in the back and 6 out of the back glass

here we go this is a 40 chevy about 4 in the front and i dont know how much out the back i dont really measure how much i take off.

 

i was thinking about jb welding it all si it doesnt warp

46 Ford, 3" chop with quarter windows shortened, rear window leaned forward, rod used to replace drip edge and top re-skinned (Due to learning curve).

 

Thanks for all the pics!! I have a '50 Plymouth Special Deluxe I'm going to be chopping this Spring and this is giving me a lot of good ideas. Appreciate everyone's contributions.

 

I removed 2 1/2 inches out of this 40 Coupe. Lined up the a-pillars,cut and moved the b pillars back and cut the entire rear part of the roof offoand positioned it where it flowed the best. Hardest part is keeping the 1/4 windows in proportion.

 

Shit, Baron, now that's an innovative body cart!!! Well, it's not exactly a cart, but it just reeks of Yankee Ingenuity!!

Oh, and the chop is beautiful!!
