60'-70's Vintage Oval Track Modifieds

Satch Worley won what I think was the last Race of Champions at the 3/4 mile Pocono track in the Garbarino #4 (1990, maybe?).

 

That #14 was a Bud Hutchins/Bobby Hutchins car that they put Paul Radford in for a couple races before Bud passed away and Bobby started driving part time after going to work for Richard Childress.

The Paul Radford #18 cars were Evans cars that were bought from Richie Evans by Reid Vaden and just relettered. Paul Radford drove a couple years in the early '80's for Reid Vaden just before he retired.

 

In picture 7525, Jackie Evans and 21 of Ray Neary, my hometown of Morrisville, Pa.
Ray is still active with vintage stock cars. He has replica of Piscopo's 39( Dave P. did own the car at one time. Also, the car was in Flemington's Museum. ) Ray has restored Wally Mark's #1, the Gremlin bodied car with torque tube and torsion bars.

Sorry, I don't have any other pics of this car, but I wish I did. I think this is the only shot Gordie took of the car. I think maybe Bob Hunter shot it when it ran as a Late Model at Holland.

GREAT THREAD! Maybe I missed some, but have there been pic's of the early to mid '60's cars that ran Lebanon Valley when it was almost " Run Watcha' Brung"? Garrison, Rounds, Jelly, those guys.

jbull we talked about that #28 a long time ago, dont think we got any more info of pics of it, was interested in learning more of it.
