Here's a new car at Hot Rod Garage getting freshened up for Amelia Island Concours. 1955 Kurtis Kraft 500-X...one of 6 ever made. It's got a 1957 283 with Hilborn injection, a magnesium quickchange rear, magnesium Airhart brakes, magnesium Halibrand 6-pin wheels, and a T-10 ******...your typical hot rod. more naked pics coming...
well, **** Pic***a just froze up...don't know why...can't open it... I've still got more pics...I'll try again later. OK! I'm back...
I gotta to hear that bad boy drive in at the Hot Rod Garage open house. It sure sounds bad going down the road. Its kool that he drives it....and it just doesn't sit around. Now for some reason I gotta go pee... Happy Trails, Mick
****ing fantastic car and rebuild... I will be there this year... giving tours to Hambers? Thanx, Gary
I've been back to this thread 3 time now... I just can't get enough of the dammed thing. These kinds of cars, to me anyway, are perfect hot rods. If you can't see the history soaked into this puppy, from the dirt track inspired frame and suspension, to the post WWII aviation influences, to the pure speed of Indy or the flats, well I feel sorry for you. And it appears to be street legal, too, even has horns! Gary
