BEAUTIFUL TRUCK!!! Is that a Cadillac Eldorado FWD drivetrain under it? I'd love to see more pics of it, especially any build pics and info.

XS, I've been thinking of something close to your red design but that green one of Johnnys is the cat's****.

I've seen it two years running. I liked the pickup version of it better but the bus is still quite amazing in scale. It has a*****in' room under the drivers deck, retains the monster water tank for the misters, and has a MONSTER V8 in it, it's a huge gasoline engine sitting in the back behind the rear wheels. It looked hilarious parked in camp walter with the VW camp clustered around it like a mother hen with all her little vw bus chicks milling about. I'm leaning more toward the red and cream colored one with a low old style tow bed.

Today I started the motor for the first time, filled the transmission with oil, filled the power steering, and drove the truck out of the shop. Motor sounds great(84 Corvette motor) and the freshly rebuilt Turbo 400******* seems to be fine. Nothing like that first time you start the motor and drive the "newest creation" under it's on power. The tough part is done on this project. The rest is a "piece of cake.
    MERRY CHRISTMAS to all. :D

That thing is cool! Is that an International V-8 in that? If I remember correctly they were 572 cubic inches or something. Had pistons the size of coffee cans.
