  3. I like those "pending" barn finds. The anticipation of "it will happen one day" is the greatest. Unfortunately they always give it away to someone else, in the first second you fall behind bothering them.
    Merry Christmas...

This is my barn find in 2010
this is how the ad looked on craigslist.

    Craigslist

    1953 Chevy, not
    rust. call ( number )

Now, im sure your thinking what I was, another scam, blind ad or maybe its a 4 door or it dosent run, it rusted out, there no title, why isnt there any pics, how much is it, on and on right?

Well I called the seller and we spoke for an hour as he answered all my question, I asked him what time he got up in the morning he said 7:00, I said i will bring the coffee.

it was complete and running (ruff) 215 inline, new floor pans and a prefectly solid trunk minor rust for a florida car in all the normal places, it had been converted to 12 volts and re wired with a modern fuse box. last taged in 2000.

The last pic is where it is at today, MII front end , airbags, new rearend , 6.0 liter caddy motor, ect.ect.

I found both of these right in town. Was going to give $1000 for the model A, and ended up $1,500 for both. Don't know yet what I'm going to do with them. Model A registered in '85, '39 has '63 Cali. license plates.

Yeah, try to make better next year hahaha! :p just kidding!

  13. Sittin' in a back yard for at least 7 years. Looks like it was restored sometime in the late 80's(best guess). Drive train was upgraded to a 283/T350/12 bolt. She's a rolling restoration for me.

69' Road Runner ( I think,.. maybe a Belvedere made to look like a RR ?) 383/727 Air Grabber.

Well, not HAMB friendly, but a barn find no less. Rare Volvo 123GT.

Factory tach, sport steering wheels, 4speed OD bla, bla, bla...wheels are not stock.

If you have any parts for 122's or 123's, let me know...

The guy had this one in his barn for 15 years or so. Picked it up a little while ago.

Heard about this one at a party and took 2 months to track it down. Went from a car show (Trophy was on front seat) to a barn in July 1980. Was there for 30 years!

I have been "pickin" stuff out of barns for the last 20 years and I have tried to always get a photo of the car when I bring it home on the trailer. Here are just a few I have found...

Similar to that volvo, I found a '70 saab 99 in my boss's garage. Best part is I got it free! Yah! If anyone has any info on where I can get parts please let me know. Just so you know my next build is going to be a '69 'stang, or a model T or A.

PS: It is the coolest car saab ever built, so don't hate me!
