very nice:) at least your engine is facing the right direction, I had a terrible time getting my runners the length i wanted and clearing everything, especially the brake booster. My nice set of aircleaners I made the first time, I forgot to account for the booster, oops, about 50 hours of work down the crapper.

sure why not? I know someone who makes prototype aircraft parts like that on old worn machines, every time I see him make something like it, it still blows my mind, even after ten years. I could only hope to reach that type of quality. some people just have the gift, and one of the most humble people I've ever met, can't understand the fuss over his stuff

  13. This subject comes up about evey 6 months or so.

Here's a pair made by a fella named Chet Smith a very long time ago. They are a little crude and still pretty dirty. But alas too many projects not enough time.

You may note that they are one off. They will probably not bolt up to the 394 in your Mom's Delta.

I believe they were originally built to hold a pair of very large AFBs, but I could be mistaken.

Here is one I did for a Ford flat head in a 53 Stude. Boniville car. The Salt-2-Salt team set 3 records with this set up.

This is the intake I constructed for the 2010 Salt-2-Salt car. Stude V8 182 cubic inches. Set 2 more records in a different class.

Old home made flathead intake from the '50's on my roadster, and some 6 banger intakes I built.
