They dont get wilder than this, the owner/builder Dave Lukkari, just p***ed away a few days ago.

 

The Crosley Super Sport was built by Gerald Davenport which he has raced at Maxton and Bonneville ... He has a bunch of Crosleys in every description ... his website is "Crosley1010.com"

my engine -- I just sold it.

 

my "Crosley" boat motor with twin carbs----actually a later model Homelite which used Crosley design after car production ceased--I just sold it too.

 

This one set a record @ Maxton (May '10 meet)...78.411 mph

 

Here's mine - been on before, but you asked........ Olds 215 powered, altered style

the Rodfathers build

 

Here is a picture of a Crosley dragster my dad and uncle built and raced in the late fifties, it ran a buick nailhead with a belt driven mcullough supercharger, it was raced in Utah, Idaho and Nevada, dad did pretty well with this car!

if anyone out there has any info pictures etc on this car please let me know!!

That lil' white moon- capped truck is so tough. Any folks got anything on the 'Farm-o- Road' ?

 

"The Little Giant" will always define the perfect Crosley for me. I do prefer it with the side (fenders) on it though...picture above must have been after George sold it by the looks of the name on the roof. Also notice the Hertz Rent-a-Shelby (GT350H) in the staging lanes!
Bob-nice Crosley; just a wee bit too low for me, but I'm an old timer, and don't care much for all this slammed stuff. Again, "505", the "Little Giant" is my bellweather...

The Mild....

 

In the late '50's there was a street driven Crossley station wagon crusing El Camino around Redwood City very much like this one. I heard it had a Cad in it.

 

I like the Batto Trucking Crosley on the Jackson Brothers G***er Nationals 2002 is a cool little rig!

Is this a cut down wagon or an actual Crosley pick up?I know of a body like this but thought someone cut a wagon to make it.
