Need Opinions On Color

I'm looking for opinions on which color to paint (lacquer) my 32...black or 67 'Vette yellow. Someone was kind enough to Photo Shop the yellow for me, so some of the details in the picture are off. Let 'er rip...

 

I vote black

 

Black looks good, but everybody does black.
Go with the yellow, also looks good, and different!

You could be unique like everyone else and go with the black, but I think the yellow looks really cool on your deuce!
I would also rethink lacquer.

 

As an afterthought, I added a Poll to this. Might make it easier...

 

The yellow makes the car "come alive". Just for the heck of it buy two plastic model kits. Paint one black and the other yellow. Attached is a model car kit of my 40 painted black just to see how it would look before painting.

 

Choose any color you want as long as its black?
Why limit your options when asking?
Their are some cool greens,blues,etc.etc. out there, and someone might just have an idea that you didnt know you were looking for. just my .02
But yeah I would choose black if those were my only two options.

 

......Black.......you can change a wheel design or engine color easier with a black car than a yellow car...

I like black but it's very popular. The yellow stands out more and alittle different. I voted for the yellow.

 

I'm going to ride the fence on this one and go with black with yellow scallops. I think that would look pretty nice!

 

I voted yellow also, IMO black has been overdone lately.

or you can go yellow and put a coat of black over it?

Yellow, the new black. I think the yellow will set it a part from the rest.

 

New idea. How about black with yellow wheels. The only yellow on the car would be the wheels. That would look nice. Call it the "Rumble Bee" and have a very small Rumble Bee pinstripe characture painted on the upper left hand corner of the black fire wall. The drawing would depict a bumble bee driving your roadster with a sense of speed.

Black. It's a cl***ic, you can't overdo a cl***ic.

I'd do black, but it's really whatever you want. I don't know why people ask for opinions on things like paint, like we're going to be able to help you decide what color you want your car.

Not Yellow!

 

Close call, but that Yellow looks way cool...

 

Find a color chart and try something besides black or yellow.

 

I would normally go with black but the yellow is my vote on this one. I may tone it down a bit but that is just a personal preference.

I would stay with the laquer myself, laquer ages well. I would stay completely away from the newer 2 stage paint it just looks too new age.

 

yellow makes me sad, maybe we can walk on down to mamby pamby land .

The Vette yellow, is it the "****ernut" yellow? If so that would get my vote.
