A blue 46 Buick Roadmaster. My Dad was a Chevy man and was on the list for a new Chevy after he got out of the army in 46. His salesman buddy called him to come look at the 46 Roadmaster that a doctor had just traded in cause his wife wanted something smaller. The old man took a ride in it and he loved it. From that day until the day he died there was always a Buick in our driveway. Must be why I like Buicks so well.

1960 Plymouth Fury. I wish we still had it.

  5. It was Sept 1971, and I came home in my folks' 68 Plymouth Roadrunner. Dad bought it new when he got back from Vietnam.

Stock, with the 383 and Torqueflite. Metallic blue, and one of the early ones with the pop-out (not roll down) rear windows. beep beep!

  6. A used buggy! Baby model.
Parents didn't get a car till a few years later.

'58 Ford. Two-tone pink and white. Was all-white, Mom had the two-tone done, and had dual exhausts put on what was then a two-year-old car.

1940 Chevy sedan. My dad drove it until 1949. After the war, he refused to pay more than list price to get a new car. In 1949, he could finally get one...

My Grandma's 1964 Ford Galaxie four door, cause my Dad's 65 was to "loud". Dad said I cried the whole way home. Said the only way to get me to sleep was to take me out in the "loud" car. Kinda ironic

1970 Plymouth Road Runner...383 auto, FK5 dark burnt orange metallic with white, bucket seat interior. The only options besides the high impact paint and buckets was an AM radio.

My mom street raced the crap out of it! It was replaced with a 4-door '72 Ford LTD with a 429 Police Interceptor package...in fugly metallic green....

This car. That is my mom (rip) and my two sisters. The little one is only 11 months old in the pic. I was another year and a half away. But my dad says this is the car.

I don't really know about me (although I have to assume that it was in the '37 Olds my folks had from 194? through 1952), but my first daughter, who is now 42, came home in our almost new '67 Corvette L79 Coupe.:)
