1930 Model A Firewall and Dist. recess from Shovel build.

    I did this one a few years ago and thought I would post it. I got the shovel from Home Depot and made the Firewall from 14 guage steel. The original firewall was in bad shape so I just decided to start from scratch.

    Stock Firewall removed.

    Template made from chip board and cut out. Notice new Shovel.

    Piece needed cut off.

    Firewall in and plenty of clearance now for Distributer.

    Nice, years ago they used wheelbarrows, for recessed firewalls.
