    And heres my Shine inspired 47 plymouth. Motor was a 230 flat 6. Its dead though :(

    Had 8.50 -16 truck tires, and double shocks front and back.

    Wow!....already a thread for my car on this site...how cool is that!....I always have to start a thread....
    Anyway 1999 Hutch Pagan Winston Cup Intermediate Monte Carlo....69 chevelle body.....will start out as a track day roadrace car, eventually be made street legal.
    Had the first car in the 80s...Loved it....350, T-10, cut fenders and springs, 275 50 15s on all corners....slid off the road and totalled the car (hey I was in my 20s) always said I wanted to do another so here we are

    more....have to take it to a nearby race shop and have the oval set up taken out of the front end and a street/roadrace set up installed so I can place the left front fender properly and continue with the body work....the left side wheelbase is 1.5" shorter than the right.

    That is an awesome Chevy Impala! Very nice work. Love the wheels and tires...they look perfectly sized for the car.

    Tell us more about the Mark IV, and some shots of the interior and engine. What has been done to the suspension?

    The motor is a 468 dressed to look like a 396/425 hp with oval-port 781 heads w/2.19-1.88 valves,roller rockers,Comp Magnum 292 cam,Performer RPM intake,Holley 750.Suspension is stock except for cut coils in front.Here are more pics...

    The street legal mod was Dan Willmes' late 1970s Spencer Speedway asphalt car that he made street legal. He's also done up a replica of Don Diffendorf's stars and stripes S/360 sedan.   13. Been some time since the last post.

    Here's the finished car, just lacking a rear bumper and side nerfs.

    These were taken in the garage area at the Daytona Turkey Rod Run in November.

    Owner made it an Earhardt tribute car.

    Man if I had more time Id start a website for street legal stock cars.....a place to come together......its cool seeing all these cars....I thought I was about the only one doing this.

    Just use MS Picture Manager (right click on the image --> Open With --> Microsoft Office Picture Manager) and reduce the size slightly...or compress the image. May want to copy it first and reduce the copy.

    BTW, what tires are you using? Brand? Model? Size? Width of wheel?

    Good looking car. Love the wide-5 wheels.

    how long does it take so your not a FNG??

    heres some new pics.....changed the leftside upper A arm, played with the lower eccentric adjusters and have the left side wheelbase the same as the rightside now....this allowed me to get the leftside fender on. Got my new 2" offset wheels, got some tires mounted and got some shots....I like the way the tires stick out past the fenders more...gives the car more attitude

    And since this is my 6th post, I have no idea how long it takes to NOT be an FNG anymore.

    Hell, I'm probably still a SFNG!

    I am seriously considering this car for my street canidate, fresh engine&tranny, just started engine/trans swap (455/6spd richmond).
    Pontiacs were big dogs back when I was young, they held their own on the track and street when the big cars ruled!! I'm bringing a PONCHO to the party.......Lee

    A 455-based Poncho with a 6-speed manual would be great. That would really stand out against all of the Fords and Chevys. My first car was a '68 GTO convertible with the 400 Ram Air II and a 4-speed. Love the design/look of the Pontiac motor, especially with the very cool Ram Air streamlined exhaust manifolds.

    My dream 'vintage street stock car' car has always been the fish-mouth '72 Torino, but I've thought that a mid 60's Pontiac (like yours)...or even an Olds would be a kick in the pants.

    Anyone here thought of a Nascar Olds clone?

    Were they even raced?

    Big mid-sixties Pontiacs are very affordable and some factory stock parts make good high performance engines. Like all american iron, if you stay away from the most popular models, you can build a decent car with a small budget that will run well and be dependable.

    NICE rides dynaflash-8,

    l like the 2dr street race car, cool 47 4dr.

    l just got a chrysler 46 4dr windsor and am planning to put the body on a 2002 modified chassis and make a street legal vintage modified. l will take 14'' out of the back doors and weld the seams up. no fenders, just a hood.
    l will add progress to this post when l get started on it this spring.

    one guy suggested since the rear doors are sucide, when l cut the car, make them still open as shortend rear doors.

    sold the dwarf car and now this will replace it as my street legal race car.
