Started this one a bit over 12 months ago. During my time off this Christmas, I got the urge to work on this one some more. Time will tell if I continue with this, or just set it a side for a bit longer. Basically it is going to be a 1/8th '32 tudor body.I started with an aftermarket 1/8th resin '32 phaeton body and a 1/8th resin '32 5 window body, that had been made into a seudo pickup cab ( which I got with a bunch of 1/8th stuff from a guy in Canada). I won't go into a long descritpion of this body conversion. I also won't post all this images I have taken. But I will add a link to the Scale Motor Cars site to the thread I have running on this one. Also in the interests of not losing all I have just written, I will post this and continue on a new post! So I got the body to the stage, as seen in the last image of my first post. Before I glued in the 'C' pillar I wanted to see how things were looking. So I did a mockup on a chassis and did a few quick photoshops. Seeing these on the comp monitor lets me see what I am doing in another perspective. It also reaffirmed to me that everything is looking good and I can continue. http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/large-scale-cars/2398-cutting-up-more-resin.html Geoff aka whodaky

He's from Australia and it's already the second day of the month(Sunday). They write their dates with the day/date first, the month second and the year third. Not too hard to figure it out.
Oh yeah, it's Sunday again - Happy New year to all! The big scale conversion looks awesome I have managed to get my 1963 Ford ready. This was my inspiration: I used a 1963 AMT annual to hopefully get some sharper trim details, but no - it's just the same as the recent re-issues. I really love the 1963 Ford but I do hate all side trim, it's truly a pain in the butt to get it right However, the car is done and I used mostly kit parts except for steelies and, headlight lenses and seats from the Revell Thunderbolt kit, front tires from AMT's 1962 Catalina and rear tires from Revells Beatnik Bandit. Decals By Lucas has the Tasca decals, they are thin and delicate I hope ya like her! Here she is in good company:
I don't understand what happened to this thread. I submitted it early yesterday ( our time ). Then later in the day went looking for it, went through 30 pages. Couldn't find it, so did a search; even did a search on my profile looking at Threads started by me. Still couldn't find it. Then now, just flicking through pages, it has now miraculously re-appeared. Go figure. So for this reason, there are 2 Sunday Model threads running for this week. This one and the one started by 50shoe. SO PLEASE POST ON 50SHOE's THREAD AND NOT THIS ONE! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=545937&highlight=sunday+models Thankyou Geoff aka whodaky
