Bronco Buster was sold to a young guy named Bob Cristoff in Westland ,MI. Worked with him at Ford. Don't know where it went.
Must have sat in a garage.....us die-hard Milan & DDW racers never saw it again after Doug sold it.........
I remember the Dietrichs bad Yellow Ford F1 truck back @ Detroit Dragway. I also got to see a good race between it and a mean black 69 Camaro out on Beck Road when there was nothing out there. It all went down @ the White Castle on 96 and Telegraph, both cars on trailers and a line of muscle cars following behind driving down I-96. Man those were the days
Another one from the U.P. Interesting sale of Bronco Buster, all the rumors was that it was scrapped.Boy that would be a nice find.
So, how many more Michigan folks signed up on here in the last 4 months??? I know there's quite a few...
Been here for a few months. Just SW of Kzoo. Anyone know of any local cruise nites around??? Use to have 'em at Frosty Boy's couple years ago like every other Saturday
...As for the rest of yous guys, there's an all Ford car show and swap meet coming up on Sunday, August 7th at the Ford World HQ parking lot in Dearborn... Hope to see ya's there!!!.. There's going to be lots of FE powered eye candy there, so bring your cameras!!
I'm a new Michigan HAMBer.......I'm moving up to Detroit in about a week. I'll be just off Woodward Ave. Should be fun!
Union Pier here, right over the Indiana state line on the bottom of the lake. More people from Chicago live here in the summer then people from Union Pier!
Born in Sturgis, MI parents moved me to Indiana... but where I live (South Bend... STUDEBAKER!!!!.... ) was originally a part of MICHIGAN.. the state line was moved north about 10 miles to allow for Indiana to have port access on Lake Michigan.. So I believe that I am really still in WOLVERINE COUNTRY ( they feed on Leprechans )
