oh yeah, get to see what it would look like, trim, fit, slide, hammer, dolly, or BFH,, then transfer pattern to virgin metal.. Sure beats wasting metal for something that doesnt fit or wont work (story of my build it seems, lol) :)...

joe, i use dollar store craft paper, its 45"x22" $1 for 2. :)

60 ford,,i didnt move it back at all, kept it in the same place. things worked out pretty good for motor fitment. I didnt really wanna mess with the cowl, windshield,etc..

I think I will have to set my motor back to clear the blower pulley. I dont have the blower yet to check the length, but Im sure 6" will be enough.

Yes, mine will be blown, the only other option would be mechanical fuel injection, but its hard to find, and Ive been its really hard to keep it tuned for the street.

These pics are of the wheel wells on the Wild Child. This is how it was done back in 65. Maybe these might be helpful in your 62 Falcon build. I have 100's of detailed images when I restored the Wild Child if you need any details of way back when.

    Keep up the good work.

    Joe

You sure don't want to just gl*** over that paper and be done with it? ;)
    KIDDING!
I hope you get the metal this weekend. Don't want you to freeze.
Sheesh! It's a balmy plus 1 here! You must live in what they call the Great Frozen North!
Steve had some weird looking white stuff on the ground. Do you?

I was looking at some of your first pics. how do you flip that
front end with out the bottom of the fenders dragging across the doors?

I had to cut mine off so they stay on the body. mine is steel also.

    thanks

Wow... that's almost hot for your part of the province this time of year!
You should be able to make a lot of progress.

Once I finish the brakes on the 4x4 I'll put the T in the garage. :)
Well.. IF my heart starts beating properly again. I'm like an old engine. I need a new distributor. My timing is off. ;)
