Very kool!! I'm working on a couple of entries for the model contest. I did my first chop
top on a 32 three window that turned out ok for a guy with bad eyes.. LOL! Can't wait
for Spring... Host hotel is the Best Western in Bartlesville....

We have a few updates; we will have the flyers in the mail soon and if you want one today
I have attached a flyer below. We off to a kool start becasue we are already getting
entries from seven states and we hadn't started yet.

Also the web site will be updated next week with all of the 2011 information.

We will have a special gathering of the Koolest ten Kustoms and Hot Rods from the past
ten years. Next week we will be announcing who they are and I'll post pictures after we
    notify the owners.

Thats all for now, stay tune for more updates later...

    Happy Trails, Mick

He's a hack! LOL! Can't wait. Any chance of bumping it up, say to right after Starbirds?

  8. Mick, it's not hard to believe it's been 10. If you consider the effort and the time you put into it, and the all around quality and good times of the get togethers, a person would be a real ________, not to want to make the events. I'll be there, got to be there!!!!

Now all we need to do is figure out how to get the GRUMPY one to come!

I'm trying to find someone to make a bobble head that looks like Jeff, that would be kool...

    Looking forward to Starbirds.

Thanks for the kind words, it is kool that you guys enjoy the show. Hopefully this will
    be the year for Grumpy.

We will be mailing out flyers the end of the week and the web site should be updated this week, my fingers are crossed.

One of the kool things that were working on.

Years ago when I was in high school, they're was a kustom shop in Dewey, Ok that always
had some kool stuff sitting around. You would see Starbird customs, Evel Knievel projects
and even the Dream truck sitting around the shop. One day I finally built up enough nerve
to stop by the shop to check it out. Carl Green was the guy running the place and he told
me about all of the projects that he had worked on and I was a changed man. That was the
day my life had changed. Everyone in school was driving Muscle cars that were jacked up
and I was trying to figure out ways to make my 55 Chevy sit lower. No one understood what
I was doing. (They still wonder to day LOL!)

At that time I didn't realize who Carl Green was, but to this day, I still kick myself for not
    hanging out at the shop.

Carl Had worked for a lot of shops over the years and for famous Custom builders. He has
been dedicated to his passion with a lot of sacrifice. A few years ago I got to listen to
Elden Titus and Carl Green tell about stories working for Starbird in the sixties. Carl was wanting
to build cars so bad that he moved his family to Wichita and they spent months sleeping in
the car until they could save money for a rental property. Can you imagine spending time
with two kids and your wife in a Pontiac. Wow, what a sacrifice to do something that you love to do.

We feel like Carl Green (fellow HAMBer) is the purrfect person to be our first person to give
a tribute too during our 10th anniversary show. Carl has always worked behind the scene
and we need to celebrate all of the kool things that he has done through out his career.
One of the kool things that I just recently found out that Carl built an all metal copy of
the Bat Mobile. Dude, you can't get any kooler then the Bat Mobile. Right? If Carl didn’t
have his shop in town and spent the time to show me some pictures of past builds I would
not be into Kustoms today and that would suck being the ordinary average car owner.

Below are pictures taken behind Carl's shop in Dewey.

Is it a pretty good show? If it is, I may try to make it if I don't have anything else to do.

Is the pope Catholic? If it's anything like Starliner I will be there. Just need to come up with the scratch for gas and entry. I was in Arkansas yesterday. I feel so dirty.

Ha, h a,ha,Kool idea Jerry, I'll tell Renee that she can blame Carl for the way that I
turned out. Another thing that I can use off of the HAMB. I'm not in the picture,
I was probably driving by pretending to be kool in my pick up. I have a good imagination.
