In 1952 Johnny Mauro, Denver racer and Ferrari importer, bought a new model 375 Ferrari Grand Prix car and entered it in the Indy500 where it was a DNQ. Later that summer he entered it in the Pikes Peak hillclimb where he finished a rather dismal 10th. Not ready to give up, he then later entered it in the Denver 100 champ car race on the 1 mile Centenial Park where he promtly wadded it up in practice. Possibly the first and only time a Ferrari Grand Prix car ever graced a dirt oval in anger.

 

I was lucky enough to see RHPS when it first came out, and several times before it got too weird to go. I wouldn't go to a theater to see it anymore, but I've rented it several times for friends. Touch-a, touch-a, touch-a, touch me....

A Volvo PV444 with a 1957 Volvo Caravan Trailer. 53 Caravan Trailers were built and sold as an Accessory. None seem to have survived.
