PILOT...man if you dig it then do it! just because some asshole doesn't just proves his short comings. 90% of h.a.m.b. members have the sense to keep their opinions to themselfs. Ts were some of the 1st. hotrods and i respect all rods regardless of the make or year...POP.

I love them especially when done correctly. I think they make some of the baddest Hot Rods around. Unfortunately I am trying to get rid of mine since we are starting a family this July. It's not secret that the cockpit id pretty tight in just about all of them and my own is now exception. We'll see if it sells or not.

    Do it!!!

I Just got back awhile ago from a short cruise (bout 10 miles) in mine. It was about 40 degrees and slightly foggy but it was a great ride.

There's probably a bucket in my future too.

Not everybody can break off 50 - 60K to build their first rod.

Great fun, cheap thrills and all of the above comments. They are like riding a motorcycle that won't fall over when you stop! P.S. Power to weight is a good freind.

I love T buckets. They are so much fun. Just simple stripped down hot rods. The last one I had, I drove the crap out of. I plan on building another after the car I am building now is done.

I guess I got it too, I have built seven 26/27 roadsters and three 23's, I have gotten old and have started looking for a car with a roof and a heater. Still has to run with its wheels on fire though!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think alot of guys, myself included, started to hate t-buckets in the seventies, a couple years after Leg Show came on the scene, and so many of them started to get ridiculous, with the tiny wire wheels and 14" wide tires on the back, and the tall windshields, brass spittoons hung on the cowl and all that crap. Last few years, I have been going back and looking at some of the classic T-buckets from the sixties, and all of a sudden, kind of having a re-awakening. Hey I LIKE T-Buckets!! At first you dont even want to really say it out loud, but after a while acceptance comes.:D

  11. When they are done rigt they are so nice. Like someone else said the 70's ruined alot of peoples taste in T's. I traded my 50 Chevy for this. Lots of fun. Todd

I've got 6 or 7 hot rods. When the weather is right, there's nothing better than driving this one. (Normally has spun aluminum discs on the wheels) Built it for about $5,000. Cheap fun.

Now that is a T. I think what ruined it for a lot of people in regards to how they feel about Ts was and is the stupid looking tall and cartoonish 23 "fad Ts."

    I still don't like them.

However, a steel 26 or 27 bodied T in the bucket style like this one ,or in the RPU style just can't be beat for classic good hotrod looks.

  15. No problem, they put sardines in a can. :D

I'm 6' even and 250 pounds. I fit OK, or you could stretch the body a little also. I've been talking to someone 6'6" thats planning one now. I want to see how his turns out.

I always loved the Kookie T car, and after building 4 T's I finally built the Kookie T and it turned out to be the coolest of them all! I say go for it , you'll love it.

BobW: Can you post a pic of the interior? I need one that is reasonable for mine.

    I like to think mine's a little different than the fiberglass cartoonish 70's T. Mine's a Steel bodied Willy's. Mine's a blast to drive.:D
