Here's one I just finished for my 10 month old son and the occasional swap meet. Needs a little fine tuning yet and I'm gonna just clear it to keep the patina. It's actually the wagon I had when I was a kid- early 80's probably. It's a Western Flyer Cheif, I can't find any other Cheifs anywhere though. I plan to make a seat out of an old metal 5 gallon bucket with strap to keep him in.

SO many awesome wagons on here. Great job everyone!! Made me go out and get one since farm n fleet had em on sale. Took me about 45 min- hour and this is what I came up with but it all bolts on to the existing holes and nothing welded to the tub at all. I am 190lbs and stood in it and bounce up and down and she is solid! Thanks for the insperation!!
Its nothing special though. Just your basic wagon and some steel.

When I built mine I just called RF and told them my sons was smashed and asked if I could buy a new tub. $35 shipped to my door. This great if you only need the tub and will be fabbing your own axles and handle.

Alot of places have them on sale for the holidays right now. I bought my classic radio flyer wagon with the metal wheels for around $58 and got her home and 45 mins later was done. Best way to go...

Started a new project tonight for my 6 mounth old.
The wagon belong to my wife when she was a kid.
The other picture a quick mock up just to give ma an idea what I am working with. The front wheels will be about a foot and half foward also I just love the look of wire wheels.

Found this one in the trash and it was so rusted out and had some broken parts I anchored to the wall as a shlef.

My daughter asked Santa to bring her a wagon for Christmas. So this is what Dad (Santa) built her in his shop to be delivered on Christmas eve right under the tree we cut down, with a permit, from the Colorado mountains.[IMG]

Here's mine with a ghetto cooler mount. Handle extension is a VW bug shift rod. Won first place for custom wagon at a local show (probably because of the free beverages;))
