I know its been a while but I read every page today, great project! I'm wondering what you used for the hard line piping for the radiator? I have a project with the radiator going in the trunk and was looking for ideas on what type of hard line to use. Thanks
Very well built. I noticed you didn't brace the body when you cut the floor out. Is this commonplace? I was under the impression that you had to brace. I'm not going to waste my time on mine if it isn't really needed.
Kailuaz, I used 1 3/4 tubing. 3 sections with rubber joints. Works well also has the added advantage of holding alot of coolant. I've seen guys running small lines and have wondered how that works, but they were also running basic small blocks.
You really should brace it. I kept the door sills which kept the spacing right, but the b-pillars could move in our out and cause some alignment issues if not in the right place when the new floor goes in. However it is not a big deal to have the doors hanging on it and use the doors to make sure everything is where it should be. Good luck.
Haven't worked on the car much lately. Come spring it will get a new******* adn some real slicks to see what it will do at the track. I am still working on teh leather roof. Had a photo shoot in So-Cal Sac shop last weekend and it will probably get some magazine coverage soon. I'll keep yah posted.

EDDIE...quite simply, YOUR THE MAN. that's the best coupe on H.A.M.B. nothing else even come's close. and that's a fact. i fell very strongly you should name your old huppy-THE KING COUPE- and you can take all that***** talk too the DO-DO bank...POP.
Kinda broke the block about a month ago. Oops...! So just drove it again today. Its now 520CI new cam and the injection. Safe to say I finally have enough power. Now just needs more tire on it. This thing is starting to get NASTY!
How about a shot from the drivers seat? That thing is bad to the bone, I bet you can't see much out of the right front!
Awesome coupe,I dont care what style it is or isnt,dont really know why so many people are so obsessed with trying to name everything.All that matters is that it looks cool ,is fast and sounds awesome and you build it .Thats what hot rodding is all about. And for those guys with their negative comments-get a life .
Eddie- I was checking out your brake set-up in this photo. Do the sst. lines terminate at some bulkhead inside the car body? Do they run all the way out to the frame? Do you ever take the body on and off the chassis and have some suggestions on how the brake lines should be set-up with a hanging pedal****embly?
Mine simply go through a hole in the floor to attach to the hard lines on the frame. No the body doesn't come off on a regular basis. YOu could buy hydraulic fittings that work like the ones on a porta power (kinda quick release like air fittings) that would allow quick connect/disconnect without having to worry about bleading etc.
