Does this count? Can I join too? :) not exactly a pickup truck. 101" wheelbase

I plan to just fix it up as is for starters, Then maybe way down the road it may morphe into something more friendly. maybe drop it on a more modern ch***is and put a pickup box on the back or maybe build a rollback hauler?? need to get it home first though...

I've got a square hole in the middle of my dash, and I was told it was for an ash tray.

Ford pickups were work trucks and did not have fancy-dancy ash trays

The whole looks too small to be for a radio,so I figured it must be for an ash tray. There's also a whole on each side of the opening. About 1/2" size.

the radios were just a small faceplate (usually round) with cables that went to the radio and the radio was mounted some where else

Here are my two trucks from my Grandfathers truck line. 39 and 38 are two of the three trucks they started with.

39, in its final version was powered by two flat heads

39, I got this to help turn the 38 into a crew cab ramp truck. Long off project. My stepson picked this to build. Which is cool with me. We are planning on turning it into a pickup.
