Do you think you can handle a tour for eight geezers from NY? We have our day passes from the home and also promise to bring along our drool bibs so as to not get any projects all slimed up.
Look for 4 of us from Minnesota on Wednesday or on Thursday am. I was there last summer, an impressive shop to say the least. Dale
Hey, I live in HB and would like to come by some time. I was driving through LB the other day and was thinking where your shop might be...

I attended the GNRS 2010. While in town I planned to visit a few shops. The Monday following the show I stopped by HotRods & Hobbies. I was accompanied by my brother of Long Beach and a mutual friend. The first person we met was Scott Bonowski the shop owner. He welcomed us with open arms. We were given way more than the nickle tour. Scott is a great guy, very talented, and professional. The quality and workmanship that goes on under this roof is second to none. I highly recommend visiting HotRods & Hobbies! Thank you to Scott for a memorable and inspiring visit. Our time was well spent visiting here..... -Shifter
i was able to stop by your guys shop just earlier, and im amazed at the type of work you guys do and were doing. while also maintaining a very clean and beautiful shop. although i came kinda late in the day, everyone was real busy so i didnt want to get into anyone's way. wish i got to take a closer look at things but i was so nervous being around those beautiful works of art. haha. great shop and i live so close too! see you all @ GNRS
I got to town on sunday. Stopped in at Old Crow, H&H Flathead (Mike could have put me to work, great place), Limeworks, Circle City, Chrisman Auto Rod Specialties. More wed. Slim
Gorrilla... you should have said something. you would have been more than welcome to look around. we were all in a mad frenzy of detailing cars. Shifter.... glad you had a good time looking around. i was the guy primering the truck bed.
Low Springs - How is that truck coming along? Is that the one that the chassis was on display at the GNRS? Scott showed us some sketches of a project '67/'68 C-10 in orange that the shop was building. I'll be back in your neighborhood in June for the L.A. Roadster show. Will HotRods& Hobbies have a display at this show? If time permits maybe I'll stop by the shop to catch up on what you guys are doing. If I lived closer, I would love the opportunity to be part of your team and work at HotRods & Hobbies. It's a long commute from the East coast ...lol. Seriously though, some amazing stuff happening at HotRods & Hobbies. You guys are top shelf!!!!!!
the truck is almost ready to spray and lay the graphics down.... yes, we'll have a display at the Roadster show. your more than welcome to stop by for a tour anytime. look for us in Building 4 at GNRS. thanx
