  1. Woke up this morning with the intention of going out
to play around in the shop. When I looked out of the
window my plans suddenly changed. With 22 and
counting I don't think Ill be in the shop for awhile.
    Gotta love Connecticut.[IMG][IMG]

  4. Been working outside on an old parts hauler, but its just too damned cold. I'm going to the basement in a bit to tackle and engine that I have wanted to dig into for quite awhile. At least its warm and dry in the basement.

We have below zero wind chill this morning and about 6-7" in the ground.

Nothing like you are getting I feel like such a sissy.

  5. Yeah ..If I start digging today I might get it out by then:mad:

It's cold and a bit of snow on the ground here, like porknbeaner said (Raytown and Shawnee are both suburbs of Kansas City). I grew up in SD, so actually enjoy a shot of snow now and then. I moved down here from Minneapolis 27 years ago, and brough along an 18 horsepower, 48 inch wide snowblower. I keep it in tip top shape, but think I have only used it here a dozen times or so in the last 27 years. A few years ago the muffler rusted out, so I built a header (2-cylinder Onan) with a straight pipe on it. It really barks, especially when you get into the snow that is a little bit heavy with moisture.

The entrance to my shop is about a 10-foot hike from the back door of our walk-out basement, and sheltered by our deck, so the weather never stops me from getting out there.
