    The Fisher head injected on alcohol to start with, Than were going to build a Skinner
    headed 302 blown on Nitro (I hope)

    Marshall check with Dave at aluminum head welder in Auburn he might have a steering gear.

    oooh, this is going to be wicked. just the thought of a Skinner-headed Jimmy on Nitro in a real-deal '60's style altered gives me chills and night-sweats

    Way cool thread. Great car. I'm working on a similar project, restoring The Last Logghe altered. It also has an inline six. But it is from a later era (1970s)

    Its been a few years, but I was able to buy all of the guts for them from SPE. They has a rebuild kit with the shim pack, bearings, etc. Mine had chips off the scroll and a "lumpy" feel. I also converted it from gear oil to grease.
