My son is into movie making and special effects. He has been adding the 'Wilhelm Scream' to his movies and videos for years. I just showed him this. He could not believe that we would learn this from the HAMB!! :)

Anyone remember Johanna Hancock for the late 60's early 70's?

Quite a looker back then but I've got no pictures.

She was a busty young lady that drove a yellow 68 Vette and was in the auto crowd back then.

Hey three, Plym49! That is hilarious, and it illustrates the point. I hope Sheb's widow is still alive and a HAMB member. She'd appreciate your post, bro! :D I DO hope folks go check out the WIKI link and listen to the Wilhelm Scream. Once you HEAR it, you go: "Oh! Hell, yeah! I remember that!" LOL

Oddly enough, it was a part of movies we watched since 1951. And NOW, you're telling us it just'a keeps on screaming!

I bet ol' Sheb would be proud (IF surprised!).

Here's Harley himself with a '51 concept car and from his website http://www.carofthecentury.com/
a list of some of his accomplishments. Man, was this guy ahead of the curve...Read the list.

    Just a comment,
    and a vote of support.

Vintage shots of days gone by, an exploration into the past, sometimes beautiful, sometimes not so much.
    It's history.
I know that some think, this is a Hot rod Forum so keep it to cars.
But there is so much interrelated aspects of the hobby, it's great to explore there.
many of the participants on this forum have served in the military(I never did), but appreciate the machinery and imagery of war.
Hot Rods and music go together, so great exploring and bringing back memories of the music of a bygone era.
I've always been a fan of old movies, and movies were so much a part of the car culture back when drive in theaters were all over the country.
Advertisements of cars that didn't quite make it, and the products and toys we grew up with and our parents grew up with.
This thread has gotten me to think, and explore memories of the past.
    And I love it!
I try and check in every day.
And what makes people "car people", is not only the llove of cars, but the culture that surrounds it.
jimshemi really nailed it in his most recent post.

For me, I was amazed someone else here liker the Rocky Horror Picture Show!
Diversity in tastes, learning from others.

I've been a fan of the Tucker since I was a kid.
Who would have thought hot rodders would be into it as well.

    cooooool!
