Well, Doc, I'd say she's somebody's great grandmother today so be kind to those little old ladies crossing the street. Some of them used to be pretty smokin' hot babes. Sans tattoos.

  7. OK;looks like Pflugplatz at the Nurburgring, circa 1964,maybe '65. I'm also guessing a Lotus(the nose and front of the car);no clue on driver.

My question: WTF is the rolled-over sedan doing sitting on the side of the freakin' track?!

Is this the "Ring"? Seen other photos of road race type cars flying at this spot:eek: Always thought this was the era of the prettiest F1 cars.

I participated in a General Motors school sponsored program for young designers. I don't recollect the name of the program but they kept the model car I designed and built. And oddly - I remember the letter saying the name I assigned to my creation was their property. Though it was never used in any product line.

Anyone else remember this from the early sixties?

Definitely the 'Ring. Jackie Stewart in the BRM P261, 1966 German Gran Prix. Not sure on the other car.

Thinking its a bit earlier 63/4, the saloon car is likely left from an earlieriin the day support race. Wouldn't think it would have been left there, unless the telephoto lense is really forshortening the depth of field. Can't see on my monitor but does the driver helmat have the circle of tartan plaid that Jackie's always featured??
