Anyone know what happened to Steve Bovan? I worked with him at Blair's, but left before he died...read about it in the New York Times, of all places....

The best era of drag racing? Not today with the prepped tracks and corporate BS.
For me, it was the sixties. Was there and witnessed it.

 

Hey NITROFC - wondering if you took these pictures?? I'm pretty sure the Super Twister picture is National Speedway on Long Island NY around 1970. The young crew on the right looks an aweful lot like me, my brother, a friend and my Dad. We went to see one of the Funny Car shows there around that time....
