Fred was a local racer, I always loved his candy red cars.

    Dave:

Is this your coupe you've been working? Very nice. If not, I'd love to see an update on yours.

Mark, nope its not mine. I am still working away on mine, just cant seem to get it together since I became a dad again. My wife works two jobs and my little girl does not like the garage. This is what I started with, did a complete frame off rebuild, I took this picture in 2004 before I blew it apart.

I think I have that pic. I was hoping you had some more recent pics, even if it's not completely put together. I know it's going to be an awesome car when it's done.

I know what you mean about being a dad. I have two little boys, 7 & 10, and if they or my wife doesn't need something, then it's the house. The fun stuff like the Willys project has to take the back burner more often than I'd like (lol).

I love cars that have a long history, and here's a perfect example. It started out as Ron Regier's car, then to Grasso & Mills, eventually made it Jay Souza who raced it in AA/GS in the late 80s and early 90s, and finally purchased and converted to street use by Dennis Johnston.

  27. traffic61......Here is how the Tequila Sunrise coupe looks today. I believe it was recently put on the street by the same guy who used to race it.
