Some pages back in this thread there was a post of it being built. I don't remember if the owners name was given but if you watch Barrett-Jacksons Scottsdale auction website they will list what it sells for this week. I'm going to be there and look for it up close and see what it goes for. It looks very nice!

Its a tough one to find a rack from something as heavy as one of these old trucks---The unequal length a arms--Theoretical like running thru the inner pivot points as viewed by the front (or rear if going rearsteer)---
The rack pivot knuckles must fall in that theoretical line. I have looked at all the late stuff that heavy ,even the mercedes/dodge sprinter.

The second gen dodge dakota rack has been used on the 1/2 tom gm crossmembers, i havent looked at the last bodystyle dakota yet.

How bout a 39 COE Firetruck. Both of the COE's I had are in better hands now and both are up in the Bay area. Divorce is a******. Keep an eye out for them these folks have big plans for both..

It doesn't qualify as a COE, or anything that belongs on here!

    All RIGHT!!

If you "really" have to know !!
I have had long term plans to build a "propper" truck one day & though I have known of the pile of COE bits for some time (which are over your way)
I did end up buying them after all.

That's only some of the panels, but basically there is nearlly 2 early Ford COE cabs there. the main one is cab No. 3.

In fact I found a Ackison COE with a 671 V8 Diesel, Roadranger box with Hendrickson suspension cheap, so I reckon it would go "real nice" under an early cab.
Looking to build a "full sized" truck which would come in hand for work.
A tilt tray would be nice, but the build is a Loooong way off. That stuff will go into storage for the time being.

I dunno about that, look how big that damn thing is! It may be in the shape of an OT, but I bet there aren't many VW parts in that thing.

Don't forget that buyers premium. $46,200 is the cost to the buyer. As listed on the BJ website. :)
