This is cool! I learned to drive in a '57 with a T-Bird engine and a cab-over camper. Drove that sucker into, and miraculously, out of a ditch. I can still remember that Old Truck Smell.

That things got a KILLER stance and its sitting on my fav kind of rim too the Centerline "Auto Drag"

 

Here's my older brothers 57 Mercury M100 that he and I drove all through high school.





Cops hassled him about the green and rust, so he flat blacked it, it was a bit rough but great fun to drive.



Currently he is rebuilding the whole truck, should be on the road this summer!

Here is a 59 Ford I recently sold, have my 58 Mercury trailer hooked to the back of it.





There are no shots of my 58 4x4 for some reason, this is a really old shot my sis in law took...



I had a 60 Mercury till just before the snow came, but it was a POS I got for parts.





I can't say I'm a fan of the Mercury letter being in the grill on this faux-Mercury.

 

This thread has been running forever and I can't believe I've missed it all this time.
Here's my daily driver - '58 was a good year.

 

Sweet 58, as soon as I saw the visor I knew it was in Australia! You guys have so many cool exterior visors I have never seen for the cars and trucks here in Canada and the US!

 

Need to get one of these someday..I`ve been a fan ever since I rode in yours way back when...Keep it cool mate!!

 

This is the last time the wheels will be white. They're at the powdercoaters now...soon to be RED.
