The Hassel & Vogelsong Willys was one of the cleanest, nicest Willys out there. The first picture I took at Cecil County MD in 64 or 65 at the Div. 1 points meet. I had to stand on Ray Kobels shoulders to get that angle. Thats actually his 57 wagon that he used to tow his Willys there. The second picture is a "Post Card" I bought at a antique store some time in the 70s. It says on back "Ron Hassel ofParma Heights, Ohio sets new NHRA B/G coupe record at Cecil County with an elapsed time of 11.34. Rons Willys is powered by an injected Chev. mill".

Here it is in 1985.. Steel body iron hemi and 6-71 blower.. I think I have a video of this car running a 8.10... (I guess I should have claimed the fastest and quickest AA/GS time..lol)

I think everyone agrees the top four AA/GS car in the country were K.S. Pittman, Ohio George Montgomery, Big John Mazanian and last but not least Stone Woods and Cook... These guys were the TRUE legends of the sport... Here's a couple more of SWC...
