So are you gonna put the 348 motor in it and do expidition runs at dragstrips in the midwest. Can`t wait to see it at Salina Run What You Brung Drags. I just hope the throttle dosen`t stick like your Motorized Bicycle.

  11. Happy for you PF.:) Our legion club in town here has a model T that they have used in parades for some 30 yrs now. It's still a big hit with everyone, especially the 3 guys/gals that ride in back !! The only big difference is instead of the 2" skid pipes in back they used a rear wheel off a Cesna tail dragger. Once the front end is up the driver just pulls on a hand brake that is connected to either the left or right rear wheel and around they go in a circle.

no, the thanks should go to PF. We sure do have some fun joshing back and forth in public. In private, we also have some fun dealing back and forth. It all started with the Peter Beater and some god-awful trade I got from PF. I have nevered bitched about it and we have gotten along fabulously ever since.

If I recall, I have sold him two cars in the past two years and ended up buying both of them back. PF has sold me some cars as well, but I always sell them elsewhere. PF has been a great source of leads for my purchasing needs. I have even dealt repeatedly with his favorite brother-in-law.

    the pleasure is mine, PF.

just do me a BIG favor...don't wear a batman outfit while riding in your clown car.

Thanks for all the nice comments from everyone here. It was too cold to drive the car today but I sat in it and listened to the engine run.

I really hope you leave the car yellow with the red lettering. Did you know that yellow with red is the most noticeable color combination? Research has proven that. No BS.

If nothing else, a poll on the HAMB would be in order.

the idea of a caster wheel in place of the skid bars is a great one. It is never good to leave skid marks, especially when going down main street in front of a large crowd.

A Hamb poll? Are you for real? I don't need no stinking poll !!! I know what I like. When I first bought this car it was John Deere Green which was ugly. I made it yellow cause that seemed proper for a clown car. BUT---this car has a 99% chance of being red with white letters next time it gets photographed. :p

I am looking at swivel wheels but I already own this one on an old single wheel trailer. It has an aircraft look to it and might work good for this car with a new tire of course.

I like that idea. So does Mrs. PF. She is tired of your skid marks.

Kool. I think you should bring it to Iola and give me a ride.

There was a guy that had a 55/56 Ford cut down like your A. He drove it around in the local parades. I wonder what ever happened to his?

ok 002.jpg I am so envious. I have been watching for a clown car with history for a long time and yours is perfect. I already have a pair of driving shoes if I ever find one.
