My Merc shines better in the rain, so I don't mind it at all. LOL I told Travis the wrong
date for the show so maybe we can sneak it by him...

Our shirts are a joint venture. I do the Kustoms & Hot Rods artwork, Ben Mitchell does the
characters & monsters, Ron Myers does the crooked stripes and If I scres that all up B-
Scott Studios comes in and trys to save the day. Pm me what ya want and I'll see if we
can help ya out. Your Suburban sits just right, don't put any more air in it... LOL!! That
Arky Bunch you run with are a kool group of guys. The Kats are going to head over the
boarder this year and invade the AQ Chicken state. We will let ya know when we are
coming over so you can sneak us past the cops...

The show gets a big dose of Evil when you guys drive up. One of these days I hope to
have as kool as a Hot Rod as you guys have.

Hope to have the '46 percolating well enough for the trip. Maybe those ruffians from Conway will allow me to tag along.

You are coming down in March for the "Cruise in and a movie" aren't you? We aren't 100% finalized on this just yet but it's looking good! O.b.t.w., the movie will be the "Deuce of Spades".

 

I finally sent in the 3 pre-reg's for the Scanlan boy's today.
The plan is for my to bring my 63 Galaxie of course
Dad is planning on bringing the 39 Chevy truck that he just bought from Bobwop which we believe was originally built in the late 60's early 70's if I heard the story right from Dad, very cool burnt orange color with vintage style wire wheels
Tom is planning on bringing his 49 Ford
Plus some more friends from the Tulsa area will be bringing their 56 and 57 Chevy's up, should be a good time for all, looking forward to seeing everyone there!

 

We are planning on it as of now. Just need to see how things are going as we get closer.

Sounds kool!! Let us know when and I'll try to get some of the kats accross the

No we hadn't started yet, going to get after it soon. I keep telling myself that Spring
is right around the corner... It was kool to see ya guys at Starbirds. You all made me
feel kool hangin out with ya..

To bad ya didn't make it, we were there for a long time, thought we just picked the wrong
day. Glad to here that your getting better.

Yesterday we finally got all of the mailers out, so it will be a race to see who gets the free
mechanic shirts. If you all have any questions just let me know. Also we finally figured out
what was wrong with the web site, so look for an update next week.

SCREW the snow!!!!! I'm ready for May!!!!! I'm ready for some hotrod weather!!!!

 

Its been a good week, Flyers are all out and they are showing back at the post office.
Yes, I forgot to throw stamps on a couple. LOL!! We also just got through with the

Now I can work on the art work for the T-shirts. I'm sure that B-Scott would like to have
the art work by the week before the SK500.

The snow has melted so I'm going for a drive tomorrow to somewhere.

HA, just sent mine back in , called the host hotel just to make sure me and fudpucker had our rooms, now just gotta get busy to make sure i gotta car that will make the run!

Those boys from Texas can sure play. Don't be telling to many people about the Saturday
night thing we are running out of room.

very long.


Friday night we decided that it was time to get started, so we pulled (more like they pulled)
the engine and tranny out of the Merc this weekend. Boy, does it look like crap. we started
mid morning and by 3:00 we had it sitting on the floor. Its not a secret that I'm not a mechanic,
so its a little over whelming driving a car into a garage that was running ok and we are to the
point of no return. Aarons shop floor will never be the same, it was kind a sad watching the
girl bleed fluids. It's going to be kool when I get it back on the road. Going to hit the road
harder then before.

Special thanks to Aaron Lawrence, Krobe and Travis for helping me get back on the road.
Also thanks to everyone else involved with the surprise. I'm forever thankful...

The next couple of days the tranny will be going to the shop to get rebuilt and we will
start switching stuff over. Righty tighty, lefty loosey look out, I might turn out to be a
mechanic yet.. LOL!!

Mick, I now see this as a challenge, let's see if I can get my car back on the road before you....however my trans is already back in, hopefully just an adjustment issue.

I keep telling them we can't get it back together too fast, I need to bolt on my trophy
whore shinny stuff. LOL!!

I've sure been catching it... They tried to teach me all sorts of things. What is a radiator,
the air cleaner, water pump, transmisson, etc., I think they even called me a girl. I have to
take it because I'm at their mercy. It was a lot of fun!

Aaron Lawrence at Fast Al's Upholstry opened up his shop so we would have a kool, I mean
warm place to work on the Merc. He did most of the work and that why you don’t see
many pictures of him working on the Merc. He also took all of the pictures. I guess you can
say Aaron can do it all.
