Mufflers for my 32

Ok guys, Im thinking that my lakes headers with cherry bomb baffles are a bit on the loud side for my local police! So what kind of mufflers will give my car a good 50's sound? I'm going to run some cast iron corvette exhaust manifolds on my 355, and probably dump the exhaust just in front of the rear axle. Any ideas? I still want to hear it, just not get into it with Jonny Law everytime I have it out.

 

I'm going with Porters also. I liked the sound of the steelpacks versus the glasspacks.

You can hear how nice they sound, when the video gets around the back of the car. JUST got the car fired up and driven out of the garage, under it's own power...

I had Flowmasters behind the 302 prior to being on the HAMB---I should have waited & learned about Porters---sound great.

 

How about lakester headers with 'Car Chemistry' inserts?

 

Does anybody know where there is a sound clip of the Car Chemistry baffles installed and an engine running? I've seen them in rod and custom , just never heard a set of them.
