Has anyone seen this postcard before? I think it came from Pier 1 Imports back in the late 70's early 80's. I am thinking of having a poster made of it.

  5. I have one of those but can't remember where I bought it. It was back in the early 80's.

This was a 50's built custom. I bought this roadster 8 years ago complete with all original grill, trim etc. I sold it in e-bay after a few years, bet you never seen another one! It was built from a 1942 Willys sedan, the builder was very crafty, is widow called it "buttercup" she said they dated in it. Came from Kansas and was said to be in an old magazine like Popular Mechanics or something like that in the mid 50's, wish I still had it!

Another one I should not have sold, this 1940 deluxe sedan had all four NOS fenders on it and almost no rust in the floors. Guy I sold it to stripped it and the car got cut apart as so many sedans did for parts. These pictures were taken about 6 years ago.

Thanks Hutch. Barb's car is so beautiful. I got to sit in her at Thompson last year. It was great. I'll never forget the first time i saw barb and "ole blue" I could hear this car coming and i thought my god that things nasty. She came out around the end of freddy bears motor home and i saw a woman driving i couldn't stop smiling. Barb got out and came walking right up to me and shook my hand and introduced herself and i have been nothing but impressed ever since. We are very, very lucky to call her our friend.
