You can't swing a three-legged cat in here without hitting fresh paint! ( No letters please, my cat really only has three legs, and he likes to be swung!)

  6. Ha! I was just posting on your thread.
Thanks man. I will most likely try to paint the body myself. I hope to get it driving and work on the body as I go. We'll see how that goes.

Don't forget, I am waiting impatiently for you to post a video of your truck driving, maybe even put it on YouTube as there is not enough good 34 chevy videos on there.

It's definitely a feeling like no other when you take that first drive.

Looking really good! I don't know how you are doing it with the temp's you guys are having. I am hoping to be at your point, by mid Feb?

  16. Thanks Kathy! As my pops used to say, it's colder than a well-digger's belt buckle! Haha!
I've got a pretty good unit heater in the shop and I bought those two propane burners for spot heating of the frame. I've also been heating the paint and small parts with a heat gun and that seems to help.
I cannot wait to see "Tuffy" at the LSR. Go woman Go!

  22. Wow! That is a list I am honored to be included on! Thanks Scotty!

Thanks Nick! At the rate you are going on that roadster, we should finish about the same time!

  23. This brings me up to speed for the weekend. I'm drilling and using castle nuts wherever I can because I love the mechanical look of the cotter pins. I tried to drill the shackles but they resisted. Oh well.

I also got the steering back together.

I have to do something about those braided lines.

    Last one for the night...

  26. Hey bro, whatca going to do with the e-brake, I'm still open for suggestions, I haven't figured mine out completely yet.

  27. Mornin' brutha! I'm using stock '39 cable and accompanying parts and tying to my Chevy lever. I still need to devise a bell crank or pulley from the lever to the equalizer (< man that was a great show! Haha!)

  28. Oh and "Manimal" anyone remember that one?

  29. Really? No one else? :D
