Ever have a car take your breath away?

    I was at the local truck stop yesterday getting gas....for my truck. On the back of a transporter was a bone stock 60 pontiac ventura. I have never given those much thought before but i couldn't take my eyes off of it. I stood there for thirty minutes in the cold just staring and admiring.

    Have you ever had a car or truck come out of left field and grab you like that?

    Not HAMB friendly but..YUP! two cars actually...a 1965 Pontiac Bonneville w/421 tri-power 4 spd tubed black.... and a 2008 Mercedes CL55 AMG sedan....that car was flat out awesome to drive,Breath taking....wish I had the money.

    The coolest thing is that that paint is the original paint from the 60"s. The whole car is unrestored. She tours with the S&S Race Team through the summer. It sounds very nasty and i love it.

    For me it was the 1964 Imperial...I was a kid visiting a showroom and it must have made a lasting impression on me as in later years I owned 3 Imperials (1963, 1972, 1975 - all LeBaron's) and still consider them the ultimate production luxury car!

    Oh, there were other cars but the Imperial was the first.

    The first time i saw jimmy shines truck done(with wire wheels).about ten years ago, i thought it was the coolest thing i had ever seen. I still love that truck.
