Yes, I don't really want to see it go, but I have a baby due in June and would like some "comfort" in the bank. Hopefully, the buyer will opt to have me finish painting and do the two or 3 tiny things it needs to be 100% finished. It was either this, or my Tudor. I can drive the Tudor every day, so I chose to sell the Bird. If the healthy reserve isn't met....it stays anyways.

I have had an itch to build a blown nailhead slingshot sometime in the future as well. We will see what the future brings here.

You are right, I do love building cars more than owning/driving them. That's why I do this for a living. I LOVE it.

I am glad to see it is staying in your hands but I understand the putting some money away for the family. Sounds like you are going to be good now that you sold another car.

This was a factory logo for our Aussie Falcon GTHO's (68-72) the phase 3 was the fastest 4 door production car for somthing like 30 years, might provide some inspiration??

Glad you're able to hang onto the bird for now!

Upgraded the cooling system with a larger triple pass radiator today. Gotta get this thing ready to terrorize the Vegas strip during VLV, and it's first track run at Eagle Field in May!

Are you going to pull air from the bottom and push it down accross the radiator? Very cool idea of it in the trunk, good spot for the weight.

Here is the start of the fan setup. Gotta draw that hot air out. There will be a shroud around the radiator when it is installed.....
