Hey Alex. Congrats. Glad it is better than expected! I'll try to make it over to the shop next Friday to see it. Looks great! I'll do a little digging and see if I can find the extra clutch pedal for you.

Beautiful car, but don't let Baron near it or it'll end up with a straight axle and a blown Hemi.....:D

original cars are geting harder and arder to find. i have a few more like it stashed but those im keeping.

If it runs well with the 265 and power glide I'd leave it. Way nice car though. My favorite tri five Chevy.

Now what you need to do is put a sbf engine in there. Only seems fair as they are always ticking a sbc in fords. Just joshing, sorta. Nice car, drive it. Mike

Had Baron and Frank over today to look at it.
I still can't believe it's as nice as it is.
Have the 327, and 4 speed figured, but can't find any original 2 1/2" ram horn exhaust manifolds. Anybody have a good set for sale. God, we used to throw them away, and now it can't come up with a set.

I've decoded the tag, and it was built in Oakland, Ca., and was originally Navajo Tan and White. The car has been painted once, and the seats and carpets were done over in the original style. The headliner and door panels are original.

I'm dying to drive it, but we have almost 5' of snow on the ground. I can't bear to expose this virgin to the salt.
    I'll keep you posted.
    Thanks again Jason.

nice looking ride man, enjoy it.

  25. ...they don't come any nicer than that,...I'd leave it alone and buy another to hot rod.
...if this ain't the same car; it's a twin to yours. I saw this one at Goodguys Madison in 2008; pretty sure it was a low mile 265 car. This is my favorite 55 color combo.

That's not the same car, but it's really nice.
I don't like the accessory guards, and they're coming off.
My car also has a front to rear radio fader knob on the dash, and a widshield washer system. It's missing the bottle though.
