62-65 Superstock Mopars picture thread..

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by caseyajones, Mar 24, 2008.

  1. Anyone know what ever happened to this car? I remember seeing it at the Street Machine Nats at Duquoin in 1988. It was pure '80s Pro Street but did have an aluminum front end and a blown KB Hemi. It was a very cool car for the time...

Not really what you're looking for, but I tried to give my 413 '65 300-L a little more of "the look" with the Chrysler-specific dog dish caps and redlines. I also stripped the vinyl top off. These pics I took the day before I sold it this summer.

Here is a picture of my 63. It was owned by Wilson White Dodge and driven by myself.

Big thanx to everybody who has posted 60's vintage photos. There has been too many REALLY freakin' good pics posted to single any out; but I gotta give a nod to the pictures of Shirl Greer's shortened and HACKED '65 S/S car. That one takes the cake when it comes to picture-in-a-dictionary of "liberated '65 S/S car". RIP Shirl!

How about these? I have the chassis that was under the "Sensation" Plymouth; which began as the Melrose Missile VI (Thanx Reed!)

My '63 Polara is standing by patiently as I work on getting my '65 Dodge shell mated with the "Sensation" chassis.

Not exactly a SSer but this is Lt Ron Root's record holding (at that time) E/MP Dodge Dart. The car had a slant-6 motor with the 4 bbl "Hyper pack".
