Ok, hate to sound like a douche, but, I love love love the Bass built car, the guy is a true artist, that being said, I cast my vote for #1. I got to see both of these cars up close and they are rockin'. The only thing is, well to be honest, Takeout T actually gave me a boner....seriously, a total show rod boner.

Studied each at the show today. Right is might, and for me the "TakeoutT" is the heavyweight lifter. My brain wants to argue otherwise, and I'd personally want to "drive the shit" out of #4, which is exactly what I said when I saw it, but #1... the last car I would choose before seeing them... has it down all the way!

  5. That should get the votes back in favor of "The Takeout T" :D

  6. all those are winners, but in their own way.

For this show, given its history, Take-out T is the complete underdog, but with the biggest bite, that, in my little 2c opinion, both compliments and embraces the history, but in a 'little guy' way. That's not to suggest that many others mentioned aren't similar in stature and bite, but, that T certainly barks the loudest, with a presence that dominates.

    RoCk On, great to see.

    Cheers,

    Drewfus

Boy this is tough. I could want to have several of the picks. But #1 looks more like a show car than my 2nd pick #3. So show off #1 and drive the wheels off #3. #1 wins !

  8. #1 is the best "show" car. #4 & 5 are the ones I'd own and drive forever.

Isnt car # 4 in the Museum and NOT in the show?

or does the car have to be in GNRS in order to compete?

either way... I'm down with #1, a classic 60's show car that has made some waves at the show and was built by a club... and there are all here having a ball no matter what happens... thats the whole idea and makes them winners in my book.

Gadzooks, jasone!!,too much information!! but I'm sure you're saying what a lot of HAMBers are thinking!!:p
I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed!! #4 would be my every day rod,#1 would be my weekend fun rod,so my vote goes to #4!!

  16. No, Bass' and Ganahl's cars are in the small building that is used for art shows, but it is part of the GNRS, not the museum.

There are all nice rides but I'd have to say the Take out T showd the best. The detail underneath the car was second to none. It's got my vote.

Ryan, Thanks again for including my car in your 10 HAMB favorites --#9.

It's been a great show, more crowded then I've ever seen. Thanks to Axle too for six months of work to get the show as good as it was. Without the Suede Palace and the Then & Now Customs, why would we bother to go?

I went with # 8 something about roadster pick ups that do it for me..

  21. #5... it's the epitome of what the HAMB is all about.

Owner built... owner painted... uber traditional and it gets driven.

#4 and #6 are right there with them.

I voted for No.1 because it is not just a car but a complete package. Turntable display and the Logo/artwork by Allison is just outstanding.
My close second is bass's car.
