As the title implies, I am putting a 331 hemi in an old Corvette gasser. I can't decide what color the motor should be. Chevy orange? Blue looks cool. Body color? I haven't decided on the car color yet, It's pretty much going to be how it is for awhile.

I think I will be different and suggest a version of white. With a darker engine compartment and some bling on the engine, the white paint will really POP!

    Oh yeah, cool 'vette.

The '51-58 Hemis all came silver, and I think they look pretty sharp that way.

Doesn't really matter though, you can't lose with a Hemi in an early Vette. cool car!

IF this is a street driven car...black sheds the most internal heat, white the least. You don't see white radiators, do you?

  29. I used GM Gunmetal Grey Metallic on my rigid bobber frame. It contrasted awesome against flat black, stainless, brushed aluminum, chrome and the copper pearl paint. I think it would look great on your motor and would match up with whatever accessories you used on the motor and the colour of the car!
