Hey Folks...Anyone, I'm looking for a picture of my car. The car that I drove at Norwood in 1961 the number 66. The view that I need is a head on shot that shows the name "JUDITH ANN" just over the top of the windshield. It doesn't have to be taken at Norwood the track is not important I ran a lot of tracks with that car. What's important is a shot that captures the name "JUDITH ANN" over the windshield.

Judith Ann was the first and only child of Dave Driggs and his wife. Dave Driggs went to a lot of races with me and helped me work on the car a lot.
Judith Ann was born during the 1961 racing season, Dave asked me to put her name on the car so I did. I never met Judith Ann. About that time I started traveling (Eastern Bandits) and I lost track of Dave. Several years later Dave died and then his wife died, I never knew what happened to Judith Ann.

Fast forward to Sunday, yesterday 50 years later at the NEAR Hall of Fame Banquet....A lady came up to me and said "I know you don't remember me because we've never met, my name is Judith Ann".....WOW.

She explained she once had a picture of car that clearly showed her name, but she lost it and she hoped I had that picture.....well I don't but I have seen it I know it's out there some where.

So please someone if you can find that shot of my car post it here and I will print it and send it to her. If you have to pay for it I will reimburse you for it.

Thank You, Thank You, Denny Z

That's a great story! Now, let's find the picture for Denny! I know you "HAMBers" can do it! I've been looking.

It was 1977, and my first trip as a 17 year old with the team to somewhere other than the Racearena! My eyes were as big as dinner plates when we rolled into the pits! It was the 300 weekend and every one was there... Our day ended in the sandbanks!

Found this picture of Troyer, Nagel Racers Hauler, not a great picture but thought it might be of interest to those trying to remember what it looked like

Something like the Ole Blue #3 coupe of Len Boehler, Koszella's Woodchopper #15 (both in the Pronyne Museum in Warrick, RI). Probably '70 - '73. Bobby Turner's # 85 is another excellent example. I wasn't aware of him and his car until I saw him posted on here with it; that's a beautiful car.

The Len Boehler Vega pictured is a part of the Pronyne Museum collection, though not currently on display. Originally three colors from the three cars Lenny obtained the body panels from, Stafford told him to "clean it up or don't bring it back." He painted it white and went on to win at Pocono with Fred Desarro in it ('74, I think). It has a '57 Chevy frame with a Chrysler torsion front clip grafted onto it.

Now-a-days it's considered roughing it if you have an open hauler. I imagine the men Monsieur Lacroix has pictured above making use of a trusty tow bar!

Yvan, my father is from St. Chrysostome, QC. That's east of you, I believe. Where was Boujrette Autodrome?
