I remember an old volvo or maybe saab comerical whree the car had four engineers in the car on a test track driving the car in a intentional slow roll over to show how strong the uni-body was. They roller the car off a small ramp and tore off some trim and the antena, but didn't even break a window, then they all jumped out of the car, smiling, like a bunch of goofballs. That was a very cool comerical.

This is my 1965 Volvo 210 Panel Delivery. Also known as Volvo Duett.
Not too many of the Panel Deliverys around these days.
I have checked the history of the car and it has been registered to a company called Ringborgs in the 1960's.
The Ringborg factory built pickups and convertibles based on the 210/Duett. Just like the Valbo factory mentioned earlier in the thread.
    The seats are not original.

This is a Duett I bought a couple of months ago.
It is a 1962 210/Duett, one owner since new, a lady who worked as a secretary at the local Volvo dealer.
It is a bit rusty, but it is all original and it has all the paperwork from new.
I was looking for a parts car for the panel delivery but now I'm not so sure about tearing it apart.

Great inspiration thread for me. I traded an old motorcycle for a PV544.
The body is pretty good, but the underpinnings are pretty rough ! I'll have
to build chassis and floors for it. I'm planning to use V6/5spd for running gear.
It'll probably end up looking like a rodded '46 Ford that got shrunk in the drier :)

Chopper, great looking 4-door. I like the proportions of those better than the 2-door! I've had a '67 2-door, '66 4-door and '65 station wagon. All were stock, but a lot of fun.

They are not to bad customized. I seen one at the custom shop getting ready to be worked on. I was impressed with the video at the begining of the thread. Cool little ralley rat rod combo. That little car can move and has a mean sound.

Been giving some serious consideration to making the 66 a DD.
Just a few things left to see if it will work out.
Fuel gauge needs to work, dash lights, seats need rebuilt (serious sag)
It is a fun car to drive.

love this thread. Seen some Volvo's I've been looking at the past six months online in more detail here.

I've got a 66 Wagon and a 62 Coupe. I've got enough projects on top of those but the Wagon is getting a v8 and the Coupe might as well, or I'll work over the B20 I take out of the wagon for the coupe.

Next on the Volvo list is a P444, a 48/49 with the split/oval rear window. LOVE those rides. Drop it and v8 it. Sweet and simple. Classic.

Anyways, here's a pic of my mates coupe he just whitewalled and intends to chop and v8:

    and my wagon:

Found this online, I really do like em' with big wheels:

and this is a right hand drive Wagon over in the UK that is my inspiration for my Wagon. Awesome combination of classic and new:

I live in Den Haag too, I saw this up for sale. Did you end up selling it or buying it?

I passed on it as I got my coupe, very curious about this car...

This thing is so damn sick. It's pretty much stock on the outside, with the older wheels and very subtle dechroming here and there. It's awesome!

I noticed, though it was only once you mentioned it as you were so subtle...

    That car looks sweeeeeet! :D

It's a question of taste, it's not like I'm posting a friggin riceburner!

    NONHOG:

I'm pretty sure those are painted and it was cold out so some condensation. I took that picture last week and it was about 40F out...

Hallo I own a red Volvo 121 like the one above (p.8), but mine is the same colour as the red one in the top of the page, the one with the big-boy show-off rims, that i personly dont like(p.7+8)!

I'm planning to mount a set of whitwalls like the ones on the blue (p.8).

Does any one have an ide on with size to juse on a pair of stock sports rims, 15"x5.5", the ones with the 2" edge outside.
I want small tires in front and big tires in the rear. with sizes does i need to make it look right?

Pictures of the car comes later!!

I'm from denmark and we names those 121; Amazon
