Here's a postcard from the start of the 1952 race at Watkins Glen. Harley Earl's LeSabre is parked behind the racecars. The race was never finished because of an accident where a racecar couldn't make the 1st turn and killed a spectator leading to the end of racing on the streets at the Glen.

 

Don't see big chrome much any more.
Also, things go better with bunnies Cool shots.
