there is a black 29 pickup that has orange 16" spoke wheels floating around here somewhere

As well as the Philadelphia's Flyers, San Francisco Giants, Occidental College, Halloween etc. But what does any of that have to do with wheels?
And more importantly, just cuz a guy wants to do it doesn't mean it will become the next fad like flat black with red wheels.

Whats wrong with orange wheels? My wheels are orange, but my car will be yellow thou.

 

This is the 39 Ryan bought, and I believe he has kept the orange wheels and whitewalls for shows etc, and is running the car on black rims and black-walls. What is it you guys were saying about orange rims?

My shop teacher from high school has a 34 Plymouth, black with orange wheels. We were the Orioles so it was school colors. I do not have a photo but it really looks good! I say go for it!
