Projects would it be gay if I said I love my little hand held sandblaster

Used it for the first time today. Yes I bought it at THAT PLACE. Worked great. Only trouble was keeping the hood gl*** from fogging up. Any suggestions on how to keep it dry.

 

Not at all! I love my blast cabinet from THAT place. I use it on everything!!! Would be nice to get a dash in there but definitely not enough room. Looking good!

And soap works on the bathroom mirror so it should work on the gl*** in your hood. HRP

It'd only be gay if your handheld sandblaster was a midget.

 

What about some of that FogX product? They must make something for the inside of motorcycle helmets. It might be worth looking into that if the FogX doesn't work.

Looks like some great results...but one does need to be concerned about the fine particles that could be getting into your lungs.. My lungs are all black inside from jet engine hydrocarbons from working 21 years at Offutt AFB, next to the flightline.. No bad results so far, but sure scared the X-ray folks when I got a chest x-ray, just before I retired in 2005...

Anyone ever looked at using that real fine sand, that railroad locomotives sometimes leave, when parked, especially in the winter.??.. The sand is shot out of nozzles, to the rail tops, to allow traction, when slick.. It's about the finest sand I have ever seen... Just a thought... duane

PS..About the fogging, is it your breathing or picking up moisture from the compressed air, maybe without a good dryer on it?

What kind of air do you need to feed it to be effective? I don't have tons to do and I'd prefer not to spend project money on upgrading my compressor.

Make your own anti fog solution.HRP

Things You'll Need:

• 1 qt. water
• 4 oz. rubbing alcohol
• 1/4 tsp. liquid dishwasher detergent
• 1 oz. sudsy ammonia
• Spray bottle
• Lint-free cloth

Wipe it on the gl***,let it dry and wipe the haze off and you are good to go.

as long as it is a female blaster you're good to go....if it is a male blaster, then YEP thats gay!!!

 

Country boys like me just spit on it, wipe it around a little with your cleanest finger and you're good to go.

One, kind of needs good dry air for a lot of compressor uses..especially using a plasma cutter, and clean dry air is best for air tools.. Might check a few compressor and cutting tool sites.. Dryers and filters can be bought at many places, even HF, Tractor Supply, etc... Just a thought...duane

 

I have the same cabinet, from the same place and used it to blast the dash in my T-Bird. The door was left open and I taped a large trash bag to it. It was not ideal and a pita, but it got the job done.

You don't need this to make own anti fog solution! Just polish your windows with a 2 in 1 shampoo .
I've been using this for years on race cars without demisters [ circuit racing on rainy days ]
I works so good ,you can only see the fog on the gl*** where you cannot polish but clear everywhere else [ behind rear view mirrors]

 

You also have a lot of air circulation in a race car,,under a hood it gets foggy fast,,but I just offered a solution. HRP

 

Depends on what you are DOING with that hand-held sander...

1/Is your blaster Pink? If so it could well be gay...
2/Is your blaster one of the ones with frilly bits on? If so it could be gay..
3/Does your blaster prefer to be dressed in black rubber with or without the optional rubber waiders? If so it could be gay....
4/Do YOU prefer to wear to wear black rubber with or without the optional waiders? If so YOU could be gay...
If you answered no to ALL of the above then you got no worries about gayness on the blasting front at your place..if you answered yes ....then you got a problem...IMO

 

Name one natural *** act that would involve a hand-held sander...just one.
