It was a good day here at PF as I left my home at 6 am and headed south to meet up with my Nebraska pals at their motel in Newton, KS for breakfast. Then we headed out for the short drive to the Wichita swap meet. This is an indoor event and the first one of the season in this part of the world. Here is a photo of Matt, Swap Meet Cindy, her husband Frank (Grouchy SS) and my personal bodyguard Gasserlouie (Matt's Dad). They are always up for fun and treasure hunting. In Frank's words this morning----"Let's go buy some junk!"

Then we saw my pal Marvin who was a vendor. He is a new Hamb member (Survivor) and is the man who sold me my Model A clown car back recently.

Then I walked around the corner and came to an abrupt halt as I found a Crosley engine, radiator, and a box of speed parts including a dual carb set up. I was very excited to see this stuff until the seller informed me it was $1,000. YIKES !!!

Then my pal Gasserlouie bought this bumper sticker. I assume he hopes it will help his social life.

The weather was very good and I left at noon to get away from the dust inside the buildings. They didn't wet down the dirt floors like they usually do. This indoor arena is used for horse shows and things like that. I was all choked up. Here are some cars from the car corral.

Steel 32 coupe street rod built in the 70's and had a 327 with automatic and a very dated "pillow top" style interior.

It was a good swap meet but not great and not my favorite. But it was fun to see alot of friends and Hambers. Looking forward to the Lincoln, Nebraska meet first Sunday in March so I can hang out with my Nebraska pals again.

Great pic's Paul, first time I've missed this meet in years. Guess I just wasn't really looking for anything, missed seeing everyone though. That 32 5 window is pretty cool. Gary

Gary, sorry you couldn't come but it is a long drive here from Omaha and gas isn't cheap. I doubt it would have been worth it but we did miss talking to you.
