Does Dave still race the small Block 65 Cyclone Comet. Theres some footage of him running that car in the 30th annv.Thunderbolt Dvd by Jim Amos,Sounds wicked. But havent seen much else. Car is way too cool to sit in the Garage.

To my knowledge I have not heard of him racing it lately, although I do not see Dave often.Daryl from the GATEJOB talks to him more regular,it was Daryl that introduced me to Dave.Living in Michigan's U.P.keeps me away from most people.

In post #3037,does it look like the fenders on the 65 has been pulled out for tire clearance? The lift off front clip on the "Chargin Cyclone" is unique, the only one I've ever seen! ROY.

I chose the name "Super Marauder for a couple of reasons besides the badging on the valve covers. Dad ran a service station named Pierce's SUPER Service. My granddaughters name is MARA. The silver is painted to look like diamond plate from Ford's Truck ads--Built Ford Tough. The red is Rangoon Red like the interior. The Black and Blue are from the valve cover decals. Syl

Ken;that dark blue 65 was built here in town a few years ago,it was sold, along with other cars and rare Ford parts when the economy really took a dump!Another 65 Comet that went was his custom ordered 65 Comet with a 271HP,289.He ordered it and drove it for a few years then sold it,bought it back, but without the original power train!! Hey 64 cyclone,

Decided to put on my new teardrop hood on my 64 Straight axle altered wheelbase( one of these days project).

Was planing on a Badd Ass Hiriser, Plenty of room for those Carb spacers.

Might be a tad radical, Crites 12" teardrop model, Custom ordered.

You didnt see the custom white on top those roofs. Funny how that works, I look for white cars and all I find are red.

All I know is this snow has been here for Three weeks now.Hell you guys have already been Drag racing Three times in that same time.

Got my Lexan Glass yesterday, That stuff aint cheap. Cutting it this weekend.

Took the rear seat apart, replaced inner structure with styofoam. Want it to still look like a seat.Went from 41lbs to 12 lbs.

Driver gained back the 10 lbs that he lost. Damn Superbowl
