Projects [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II

  1. Well i made some progress on the frame this weekend. Got my air tank mounted. I capped the lower link frame mount and mounted both front shocks. Still have to mount the rear shocks but i got there placement figured out.

  6. Well I finally got my ACCUAIR E-level touch pad controller and VU4 manifold valve. All i can say is Wow this stuff is very nice. Thanks to Nate at Porterbuilt.

  7. Well I decide to change the upper wishbone to a triangulated four link, didnt like the long front mounting tabs. Also Got the rear shocks mounted to the lower bars. As well as made the mount for the accuair vavle and i've started the computer mount.

    also, glad you got rid of the other upper link.....looked like redo in the making......you go it nailed now.......

    Nice job on the shock mounting. They dont distract from the other work, they flow into the chassis design so well.
     
  14. Thanks Racrdad, thats what i was trying to do. That and i needed more travel out of shorter shocks....lol

    Wow!!!! Frame looks GREAT!!! Really nice work! If you have any questions about the AccuAir setup let me know. I've got mine in and working great. Can't wait to see this thing done!!!

  20. I redid the accuair valve mount cause i didnt care for it resting on the driveline hoop. I also got the lower link end changed out to rod ends, and got the third member in to check driveline clearance.

    Well heres a good update! I got the chassis mocked up and fully welded. Also got the front frame horns finished. Got the chassis off the table and almost nocked back up. Need to get rear drums and put the rack in upfront and then it will be a roller.
