My shroud panel arrived from the Netherlands after a 2 1/2 month trip last week. Thanks to Koos for giving me this hard to find part and taking the time to pack it up and ship it to me. It was very much appreciated. [IMG]

Installed my new cab lights today. I have always liked the looks of these lights on these early trucks. Should look great once I put the mirrors back on.

I was over at Samari Mike's the other day and took a couple of shots of his Autocar tractor. It's a bit rusty it came off one of the San Juan Islands stuff rusts like mad ouot there. You wouldn't think so to look at it but I've seen it run in the last 90 days. It has a big flathead gas six in it.Note the cool old aircraft seat in it.

I'm actually surprised you'd go for modern plastic lights rather then something vintage on it.

    Sweet truck regardless!

I did bid on four vintage lights that sold for $160.00. I figure these things being made in Taiwan, after being exposed to the elements for a few months, will take on that vintage look. Maybe I'll take a scotchlight pad to the shiny plastic lenses. ;)

I think 4 looks better than the original 3 they came with. I was going to get two more for Lou Lou Bell but I think they where made of gold or something.

I scrap out a lot of old farm trucks. If you want cab lights let me know, I'll watch for them. Of course, I'll probably need a set for my 55 ford Coe, once I get started on it.

I had to QUIT helping a guy that Scraped things out for cash,,,,,,,,

Hell,,,, I had trouble scraping out a 88 GM pickup I got for the motor. I still have parts of the cabs trans. Hump, Back panel, Roof and the rest was made into trailer.

I knew a Dodge Route van a little older than yours, I believe it was a early 50's, that had a 2 piece hood, and a Roll up back door. Slipped through my fingers.

The grill and park lights and bumper are like a 48-50 Dodge truck, I think this body was used till 56, I'm pretty sure there was a big change in 57 making the nose more like a 57 Dodge truck nose.
